Training for Consultants

The Digital Risk Assessment™ (DRA) tool is an instrument developed to assist a company to ensure that their social media presence and activity is in line with state and federal laws, as well as regulatory compliance.

The DRA tool is only half of the solution. Knowing how to conduct the audit and how to convert findings from the audit into recommendations that are then implemented is the other half. Training and certification in the DRA tool is offered to ensure to our corporate and business clients that the consultants who are providing the audit service are highly qualified, professional, and will add value to their bottom line. For the consultant, training gives them the tools, resources, and support for making this part of their consultancy a success.

The Basic-level of training is a two-day intensive education experience that takes the consultant through the entire process of the audit, from the first meeting with the client to discuss goals, to the actual audit completion, to the presentation of recommendations, and finally to the follow-up and implementation. After completing this training and filing the membership application, the consultant will be certified to conduct the audit under the DRA banner.

The Master-level training takes the consultant beyond the basics into learning how to review most of the policies, procedures, and documents submitted by the client. This allows the consultant to work hand in hand with the reviewing attorney to prepare the final recommendations report. After completing this training, consultants will be allocated a larger percentage of the client fee.

Training for Attorneys

We are always on the lookout for aspiring attorneys who “get” social media and understand the laws and their application to this evolving area. The training takes the attorney through the audit process and then a comprehensive workshop of analyzing policies, procedures, and documents submitted by clients. The training also discusses the writing of the report, including requirements and language for recommendations, and how to work with your consultants. Attorneys must complete the training and the application process to be certified as a DRA attorney.
